The reseller platform is available to you at a fixed monthly, quarterly or annual cost. No matter how many accounts you create, this is all you pay to us. Additional costs only occur when extras are purchased such as domain registrations or spam filtering.
The creation of accounts can be completed in minutes. You can pick credentials such as username and password, as well specifying the resources available to the customer (eg 5 POP3 mailboxes). As a reseller you are unlimited in specification allocation, but you can limit what your users can consume.
Once installed on an account, it is possible to schedule the execution of up to 10 scripts within an account's web space at various points throughout the day, month or year. Common website tasks that benefit from time scheduled execution include the expiration of data, sending of emails on specific dates, billing purposes, clearing out log files or caches and generating reports.
When a request is made for a file on your site that is no longer available visitors will be displayed with a standard uninformative page. The custom error pages allow you to present something more informative and in the style of your website, allowing you to increase the chances of retention to your site. This applies to Windows error codes 403, 404 and 500.
Many MIME types are preset on our Windows web servers, however should a specific file type or web application not appear on your site or function correctly, such as a Flash Video, you can define your own custom MIME types on the web site.
Shared SSL works in precisely the same way as a Professional SSL certificate in terms of encryption and server to client security, however it does not offer assurance of your organisation's legitimacy as Professional SSL does. Full SSL certificates are also available for an additional cost.

Create Microsoft SQL Server databases on your account and have full control of them via the Microsoft Enterprise Manager and ODBC. Microsoft SQL Server is the most powerful database available for the web today, and is the solution used by many corporate and financial institutions worldwide.
The MySQL database server is the world's most popular open source database management system as of 2008. MySQL databases are an additional subscription cost on Windows. They are supplied at no additional cost as part of the Linux and Enterprise Reseller platforms. Details of pricing can be found on the pricing page of this section.
phpMyAdmin is a free and open source tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL with the use of a Web browser. It can perform various tasks such as creating, modifying or deleting databases, tables, fields or rows; executing SQL statements; or managing users and permissions.
Hourly, daily, weekly and monthly statistics are provided in graphical form. These cover a large number of requests covering commands, updates and data fetching. These can provide a valuable insight into how your site and data is performing and being used.
When you create a hosting account the username and password picked can allow you instant access to the account via FTP. Our control panel allows you to setup unlimited additional FTP Logins on a per account basis, allowing customers and web site users to access and upload files directly by FTP within a web site itself.
For maximum security, and to aid in tracking down misuse, we have developed an FTP log page. This allows you to see in real-time which IP addresses are logged in to our systems via FTP and the changes they have made. Logs are retained for a maximum of 28 days.
You can restrict who can gain access via FTP to an account. Rules can be specified to restrict access to a specific IP addresses or subnets. Likewise specific rules can be applied to block addresses should unauthorised attempts be made. The rules can be indefinite, or limited to hours and minutes, or a specific date in the future.
View both real-time and historical information about the visitors to your web site. You can both view detailed Webalizer graphical statistics through our control panel. These are provided as a free option on all accounts.
Should you prefer not to provide customers with a control panel, but would still like to grant them access their website statistics, a separate "stats.yourdomain.co.uk" interface can be provided to your clients at no additional charge.
This can prove of high value to customers who require to know more about their visitors than provided in the graphics statistics section. There are no extra costs associated with our raw log files.
All web servers are backed up every 24 hours off-site. This is provided as standard and with no extra cost. Files are retained for upto 3 days and can be retrieved in the event of accidental or malicious deletion or removal. This procedure should ensure that resellers or end users don't necessarily need to keep their own regular backups. We would always advise that the site owner always has a local copy as good practice.
Our MySQL clusters are made up of multiple nodes and load balancers to ensure fast and reliable delivery of content. Each cluster operates with mirrored servers for maximum resilience. Dumps of the databases are completed every 12 hours and backed up off-site nightly. In the event of data loss we can recover this information on a per database basis.
In the modern world email is fundamental to business, and therefore loss of service or mail can have significant impact. To help safeguard against disaster our mail clusters operate with realtime replication across multiple machines and RAID10 drives. Mail is backed up and securely held off-site on a nightly basis. A lot of care and attention is placed on our mail platform, which plays an especially important role with IMAP where local copies of mail aren't always captured.
