We allow you to view all your customer's connections. The moment you place an order via the control panel it is available to view and track. We also allow you to see at a glance the status of all your orders including their current online status.
When you edit a broadband connection in the control panel you have instant access to powerful tools. These allow you to track the progress of the order, amend product details, and will assist you in diagnosing faults in real-time. We are constantly developing this to put you in full automated control of your customer's connections.
We recognise that not all customers want or benefit from long term contracts. Lots of our broadband technologies have short term contract options starting from 1 month.
If there are upgrade paths available on a connection, whether this be to change the technology (eg ADSL to FTTC), or the product type (eg Regular to Elevated), as a reseller you have full automated control to action this at any time.
The ban facility is ideal for non-paying customer's whose connection is effectively suspended. It first of all terminates the session, and any further authentication attempts to the radius servers are refused.
Non-paying customer's, or those who abuse their connections, can have their speeds reduced to a crawl. This can be useful in non-paying situations where cutting off the customer's connection wouldn't help matters. The speed changes can be seen instantly.
Should you require your customer's connection to be reset you can force this to happen using the Terminate facility. Their current session will stop and their router should automatically attempt to reconnect.
Should you need to terminate a contract you can make the request, in complete automation, via the control panel. This can either be actioned with immediate effect, or by specifying an action date. We make sure that you are not hindered with long notice periods.
Enhanced Care products help ensure that your connections get quicker and around the clock responses to faults from the carrier in question. Whilst it's not a true SLA, it is one step away from one, and offers the best chance of securing quick replies from carriers.
We provide fully automated and detailed diagnostic tools for all our broadband connections. Should a fault exist, you would use these to understand the current state of the circuit, where you will be offered a result in plain English as to whether an issue is being detected. Following completion of the tests you can raise the fault in a structured manner for our review and assistance.
Depending on the broadband technology and carrier, we have profile control facilities. Changing the profile can aid problems such as speed or stability issues without the need for an engineer visit.
We provide realtime visibility of authentication attempts to both the carrier and ICUK's own network. This can highlight issues such as incorrect usernames and / or passwords.
Session History reveals just how stable a connection is. You can see how long they have been online for, as well as how long they have been offline. This is aided with graphical representation making it easy to spot patterns.
BT Wholesale provide us with feeds of known major service outages. As a reseller you can not only gain access to a complete list of known issues, we clearly label the usernames of any of your customer's which will be affected by these. Once fixed details of the fix are shown allowing you to relay this onto the customer.
In a similar fashion to the Major Service Outage notifications we allow resellers access to a complete list of planned engineering works affecting BT Wholesale equipment or exchanges. Details of the work and times / dates are shown along with confirmation of which users may be affected.
A great tool that helps track the profile speed which has been applied to a broadband connection at the exchange. This can certainly assist in speed related issues, and can determine if a reset of the profile is required.
Available for ADSL customer's we provide an SNR reset functionality allowing you to request that the exchange software reset its current profile and retrain to take into account any changed conditions (eg a voice affecting fault has resolved, and you now want the line to retain to regain a better SNR value and higher speeds).
Our mapping tool provides you with visibility of your broadband estate mapped onto a Google map. This can help you understand and view regional outages and how they affect your customers. You can plot onto this details of exchanges, major outage and planned works. It provides you with a new dimension to faults.
We no longer offer capped broadband packages, all our ADSL, FTTC, FTTP, FTTPoD and G.Fast connections are supplied with unlimited usage policies. ICUK actively aims to deliver more than enough capacity to ensure that even at peak times we will not contend services within our network.
We update the usage of all connections every 30 minutes to provide you a near real-time idea of the traffic flowing through a connection. Hourly, daily and monthly summaries of data transfer are provided. These can be viewed by yourself and your customer's through the control panel.
You can assign Static and Routed IP addresses to each and every broadband connection easily using our IP pools. Should you no longer require them they can be easily be removed just as easily as they were added, and the connection is restored to a dynamic IP. IPv4 and IPv6 options are available on all our connections.
Using our control panel you can easily see the static and routed IP addresses that have been assigned to a customer's broadband connection. Once assigned you can easily amend the reverse DNS records yourself without the need to raise support cases to us to apply them. This applies to both our IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
If you have your own IP range from RIPE, then we can advertise them for you. This allows you to automatically assign and manage them via our control panels, including managing reverse DNS.
We provide extensive information about the carrier and technology availability prior to placing the order using a phone number or address. The checkers we provide are available within our portal and API. As a reseller you can integrate and share these with your customers via your website.
Enter a list of phone numbers you want to check on, and our scripts will email you a spreadsheet in return detailing the availability broadband products, predicted speeds, and postcode information for analysis.
Every function available to resellers within the control panel for managing broadband connections is available via our very latest REST based API. This includes access to ready made, easy to integrate, checker tools for your own website.
Similar to our white label name of interdns for our hosting reseller services, we use interdsl.net for our ADSL services. This realm is used for your clients ADSL usernames (email@example.com) and for reverse DNS. Custom reverse DNS records can be set by request on a per user basis.
For a small setup charge we can register your own realm with our carriers. This means that instead of using our generic @interdsl.net address in your usernames, you can have @your-domain.com, specific to your company offering the very highest level of branding control infront of your customers.
