Activation Charges
FTTC Activation £80 The activation fee covers the cost of a visiting engineer to convert your phone socket to support FTTC and supply you with an Openreach modem to connect.
Fast Track Activation (in addition to activation) £200 If you are in a rush for your broadband connection then there is a fast track order process which is applicable to new activation orders only. Most fast track orders complete within 48 hours of them being placed which can reduce the standard activation time by about 7 days. This fee is in addition to the standard activation cost.

Migration Charges
ADSL to FTTC £80 When you migrate from ADSL an engineer visit will be required to convert your line to support FTTC and connect an Openreach supplied modem. The migration charge covers the engineers time and cost of the modem.
FTTC to FTTC £50 This fee allows you to migrate from one FTTC provide to another using a MAC code.
Reverse Migration (back to ADSL) £40 Should you need to return a FTTC connection back to ADSL then this charge would be applicable.

Modify Charges
Modify Speed £11 Should you wish to upgrade to the Business FTTC packages, and benefit from the higher upload speeds, a one-off modify fee of £11 is applicable.
Cease Charge £32 In the event you cease a broadband connection then BT Wholesale apply this fee to remove broadband from a line. It is not applicable if you simply migrate to another provider. It is, however, applicable if you cease your phone line, or you wish to remove broadband completely off the line. ICUK does not profit from this charge, we simply pass it across at cost.

Hardware
Replacement Openreach Modem £30 This modem is supplied by Openreach and simply connects to your phone line. It doesn't have a management interface to configure settings and shouldn't be confused with a router. In the event the modem needs to be replaced this cost is applicable.
Extension Kit FREE The data extension kit is RJ45 cable supplied by the visiting engineer. It allows you to locate your router in another room, as opposed to housing it next to the Openreach supplied modem which must be located next to the master phone socket.
